Hays Knowledgebase Question:

I installed a new Hays 11" Brog and Beck Street/Strip clutch kit Part Number: 85-114 and Hays Billet Steel flywheel and fork pivot ball to replace a failed Centerforce street/strip pressure plate. The problem is I can't get seem to get rid of the chatter on initial release. Please recommend an 11" clutch that will to the job without chatter. Classic car owned since '73.. not raced anymore.

Reply from Rep:

You need a more agressive friction surface on the disc. look at the Hays 49 series raxe discs.
