Hays Knowledgebase Question:
My understanding is that I will need an external balanced flywheel for this engine which is avail thru Jegs and Summit. 383 stroker w/ 405 HP...I need the flywheel replacement and recommended clutch/pressure plate recommendations. for Daily street use. Thank you, John
Reply from Rep:
Standard GM small blocks are internally balanced and do not need external balancing. You should be using a Neutral Blanced Flywheel for this eng.
